At LN Capital we build Torq, the industry’s most advanced node automation and management system. Torq is trusted by organizations running large Lightning nodes, including payment processors, Lightning Service Providers, wallets, and exchanges.

About the Position:

We are in search of a UI/UX Designer to join our team and significantly contribute to the future of Lightning node management. As the first designer on our team, you will handle a variety of design challenges, with a primary focus on the Torq UI and the ln.capital website.

As our inaugural designer, your first task will be to shape and define the aesthetic and experience of both the LN Capital and Torq brands. We use Figma and have developed our own design system, but you will be free to choose tools and change the design system or strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Design, update, and improve user journeys and task flows for our software interfaces and devices.
• Maintain and enhance our design system.
• Evolve our digital brand language.
• Improve the UI and user experience of Torq.
• Redesign and update the ln.capital website.
• Create marketing assets and curate unique brand experiences as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional digital product design experience, however, candidates with varying levels of experience will be considered based on their aptitude across multiple disciplines.
• Proficiency in using Figma.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining design systems.
• Strong skills in creating user-centered designs.
• Experience operating a Lightning node is preferred, with a demonstrated passion for the Lightning Network. Our product is geared towards improving the UX for professional Lightning node operators, so the more you understand about the Lightning Network, the better.
